Two more Böckers for Berry

UK crane rental company Berry Cranes has taken delivery of two new Böcker truck cranes, a four tonne AK 36/4000 with a 36 metre maximum tip height and a six tonne AK 46/6000 with a 46 metre tip height. It has also ordered several other new models for delivery in 2024, including the new AK 42 and AK 48 unveiled at Bauma last October.

The handover

The AK 36/4000 features a three section boom topped by a three section telescopic and luffing jib for a 36 metre maximum tip height. The six tonne AK 46/6000 has a four section main boom topped by a similar three section jib for a 46 metre tip height.

Berry Cranes founder and managing director, Neil Berry said: “When we purchased the first Böcker crane in the UK in 2008, little were we to know just how well they would fit in. Some 15 years and 20 new machines later, it was very easy to decide where to place this order. The unique, diverse versatility of the Bocker cranes, coupled with their quality and backup has made this a very easy decision.”
