Aerial lift tips in Hull

An aerial lift being used by two men painting the Dairycoates public house on Hessle Road in Hull toppled over today ad crashed to the ground crashing across the roof of a parked car in the process.

The fallen lift in Hull

The men were taken to Hull Royal Infirmary, where their condition is described as serious.

Police have taken evidence from the scene and informed the Health and Safety Executive of the incident. It is hard to identify the machine from the photos that we have been sent, but it looks like it is some form of Spider or small trailer lift with a two man platform.
