Dinolift goes with CPL

Finnish trailer, boom and spider lift manufacturer Dinolift has appointed CPL as its distributor for the UK

CPL - which is owned by French manufacturer Klubb - will be responsible for sales and customer support of all Dino trailer lifts, lightweight 4x4 semi self-propelled boom lifts and spider lifts.

The two companies will exhibit a full range of products at Vertikal Days in May, while Dinolift machines will shortly be available for demonstrations.

CPL chief executive Paul Murphy said: “This partnership with Dinolift completes the range of access equipment offered by CPL in the UK market. Dinolift is innovative and manufactures a very high quality product that we are proud to put our name to.’’

Dinolift finance and business director Minna Salmi added: “We are excited to start working with CPL and strengthen the position of Dino products in the UK access market. Dinolift was at one time handled by Central Platform Services - CPS - which had some success a few years ago with the ministry of defence and some rental companies.

Vertikal Comment
Dinolift’s larger trailer mounts are seen as on the long side for the UK market, although it has to be said, the market is not that big and there is a very strong local trailer lift manufacturer in the form of Niftylift.

More recently Dinolift has been gaining traction for its lightweight semi self-propelled boom lifts which are fully driveable when stowed, but employ outriggers before elevating, allowing a far greater working height for a given weight, as well as the ability to level up on slopes.

This is the second time in four months that a distributor has been appointed that handles both Klubb and Dinolift. Klubb appointed Dinolift distributor Hematec in October, following its acquisition of Isoli which Hematec also distributes. The brands make up a really good product range - perhaps we will see further such combinations going forward?
