Shipyard fataility in Netherlands

One man has died and another is seriously injured after they fell out of the basket of an aerial work platform in Capelle an den Ijssel, on the east side of Rotterdam in the Netherlands earlier this week.

The two men were carrying out maintenance work and were driving the elevated lift along the bottom of the hold when it apparently overturned, dropping them around 10 metres to the ground. One of the men was declared dead at the scene, while the other was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.
