Kangaroo flip for crane

A crane operator was injured in Australia earlier today when he swerved to avoid a Kangaroo in the road, hitting a barrier and causing the crane to overturn .
The incident occurred on the Princes Highway, North of Cobargo - which is east of Canberra and south of Sydney, New South Wales, Australia. We have been told that the crane was a Franna type mobile/pick & carry crane, BUT have yet to confirm that or see any photographs.

The operator, 45, was trapped in his cab, but extricated and then treated by paramedics before being airlifted to a hospital in Canberra where he is reportedly in a stable condition.

When we learn more or receive a photograph, we will update this item.
