Multitel trio for Transgruma

Spanish crane and aerial lift rental company Transgruma has taken delivery if three 20 metre Multitel HX200 EX articulated boom truck mounts, the company’s first platforms on 3.5 tonne chassis. And its first non-operated/self-drive truck mounts

The new machines have a maximum working height of 19.9 metres, a maximum outreach of 9.6 metres and a platform capacity of 225kg. It joins a fleet of larger truck mounted lifts, topped by a 90 metre Bronto, along with large underbridge inspection platforms.

The new 3.5 tonne 20m Multitels arrive


The family run company was established in 1989 by Manuel Aguado García and is based in Leganés on the south side of Madrid. Its 100 unit fleet also includes spider cranes along with All Terrains from a 40 tonne City up to a 500 tonner. Until now it has largely worked on large projects in the industrial, construction, energy, petrochemical, and wind power market sectors.

The new platforms were sold through Multitel Pagliero’s dealer Transgruas, following a demonstration day at its premises in Valdemoro, Madrid, which also added a 25 metre MZ250 articulated boom truck mount to the mix for delivery in the next month or two.

The new machines include variable outrigger set up with automatic sensing and working envelope adjustment providing the best performance for the available space. The manufacturer’s EVE system monitors speed of operation and direction of movements in order to smooth out any sudden lurches.
