Crane tips over in Utah

A Grove TMS900E truck crane being used to install power poles in Orem, Utah tipped over sending its fully extended 43 metre main boom crashing into a home, slicing through the roof of the house and garage yesterday. Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Fortunately no-one was injured when this crane toppled onto a house

Wagstaff Crane Service, was hired by Rocky Mountain Power to help install power line poles when the crane tipped over and landed on the home. Investigations are currently underway to establish the cause of the accident.
