Magni partners with Skyworker Trade

Italian telehandler manufacturer Magni has appointed Skyworker Trade as its exclusive aerial lift distributor for Switzerland and Liechtenstein.

Skyworker Trade offers a wide range of products on a non-exclusive basis, particularly when it comes to booms and scissor lifts, including Niftylift, JLG, MEC, and PB. It also provides service and support for other manufacturers. It is also a sister company to the Swiss rental company Maltech, which boasts one of the largest aerial lift fleets in the country.

Eric Hunziker, the owner of Skyworker Trade and Maltech said: “We chose Magni because they meet the requirements of the Swiss market with their modern, innovative and low emission equipment. The wide range of electric scissor lifts and telescopic off-road platforms covers a broad demand of a highly diverse customer base all around Switzerland and Liechtenstein.”

“Maltech has been using Magni platforms for a long time and is convinced of the quality and the performance of the equipment, which meets our high sustainability and technical support goals thanks to their excellent after-sales service. I recently visited Magni’s plant in Castelfranco Emilia with my team and was impressed by the professional and well organised production processes. We are convinced to have found in Magni a strong and reliable partner on which to build a longstanding relationship with a market leading manufacturer.”

Magni deputy commercial director Eugenio Magni added: “We welcome Skyworker Trade into our dealer network. This new partnership will allow us to be closer to our customers and to offer our equipment and services in Switzerland and Liechtenstein.”

Magni aerial work platforms are manufactured by Dingli, which acquired a 20 percent stake in the Italian manufacturer back in 2016. Magni has also played a major role in the design of the Dingli boom lift product range.
