First contract for two new Wilbert WT 300 e.tronic tower cranes is the 170 metre tall "Opernturm" building in the middle of Frankfurt/Main.

The two WT 300 e.tronic cranes which have a maximum load capacity of 16 tonnes and a capacity of 4 tonne at 70 metre radius, will be assembled with 45 metre (8 tonne) and 50 metre (7.1 tonne) jibs.

By the end of the contract the cranes will have hook heights of 200 metres and 186 metres.

By phase 4, the cranes will have hook heights of 200 metres and 186 metres. respectively and only three fixing points are needed at this height. When the building reaches 100 metres, the standard 45 kW hoist units will be exchanged for 110 kW high-rise hoist units with considerably faster hoisting speeds.

At the end of the contract the taller 200 metre crane will disassemble the smaller 186 metre unit reducing costs.

The WT205L e.tronic is a 60 metre luffing jib with 40.5 metres under hook height.
