HDW Poland to handle Versalift/Ruthmann

The Polish division of Dutch company HDW has added the distribution of Ruthmann and Versalift vehicle mounted platforms to its sales portfolio.

The company has recruited Grzegorz Sala as business unit manager for truck mounted solutions. He joins the company after almost 14 years with Rothlehner Poland.
He began his career in 1998 as a salesman for the local Pepsi bottler, taking on a similar role for mobile phone operator Orange a couple of years later. He got his first taste of the access industry in 2007 with a short spell with rental company Kiloutou, moving to Axor Rentals at the end of that year and then Rothlehner in 2009.

Sala said: “Selling premium products has always been challenging in Poland, but it is also a great pleasure. To meet customer expectations, our company decided to invest in local stock so that they would be available for immediate sale. We are also setting up a new approach towards the customers with demo machines to test drive in his work environment before purchasing it or replacing it during service downtime. HDW Polska plans to introduce further products shortly.”
