Hiab expands in Florida

Hiab has acquired Bay Equipment Repairs a service company based in Tampa, Florida, USA. Bay is a long-term service partner of Hiab and offers workshop and mobile repair and maintenance services to a variety of customers, most of which are Hiab users.

The company, which was founded in 1991 had sales last year of around €1 million with 13 employees. In addition to selling parts and service, the company sells both new and used Hiab cranes and Moffet piggy-back fork lifts.

Bay repairs will be integrated to Hiab’s US service organization in order strengthen the loader crane producers service coverage in Florida.
