Belgian rental company Altitop has ordered a further 50 Hinowa spider lifts, most of them being the 15 metre Lightlift 15.70, 20 metre 20.10MK3 lithium and the 26 metre 26.14 bi-energy. The company has also ordered the 40 metre 40.18 Bi-Energy - lithium battery/Diesel - which becomes the largest model in Altitop’s spider lift fleet.
Altitop’s director Frédéric Naessens said: "The purchase of these 50 state of the art spider lifts also strengthens our partnership with Hinowa and expands our range with innovative models, including the bi-energy 40 metre. This milestone symbolises more than just an expansion. It's an opportunity to push boundaries, provide tailored solutions and contribute to a future where efficiency goes hand in hand with sustainability."
Altitop is based in Waregem, Belgium and is owned and managed by the Naessens family. If that sounds familiar, it is the same location and family as DK Rental that was founded by Dirk Naesens and grew into Belgium’s leading aerial lift rental company, later moving into Spain and France before it was acquired by UK rental group Lavendon, which was then acquired by Loxam.
It is also located next to Vertimac, the parts and used machines sales company - also part of the Naessens empire. Altitop now runs a fleet of more than 3,000 machines, mostly aerial work platforms and telescopic handlers, from seven locations in Belgium, France and Luxembourg.
