Further growth for Loxam

Loxam, the French international rental group – Europe’s largest has reported its results for the nine months to the end of September.

Total revenues increased just over six percent to €1.89 billion, while pre-tax profits jumped more than 25 percent to €89.5 million. Capital expenditure for the nine months declined almost 20% to €453 million.

The revenues are broken down as follows:

Scandinavia €224 million +28%
Rest of the world€491million UK, Spain, Benelux, Germany, Baltic states, Brazil Mid East & Morrocco +32%

Third Quarter
Total revenues were €643 million +4.8%, while pre-tax profit almost doubled to €36.2 million.
The revenues are broken down as follows:

Scandinavia €177.5 million +4.7%

Vertikal Comment
An excellent set of numbers from Loxam, which put it on course to sail past €2.5 billion, thanks to several acquisitions, organic growth and favourable exchange rates. While the bottom line improved by a wider margin in all three regions.
