Danish army orders Hiab

Hiab and its Danish dealer, Sawo, have won an order for 22 loader cranes and 133 hook lifts from MAN trucks for delivery to the Danish army.

Sawo will install the cranes and hooklifts to MAN high mobility military trucks. The cranes will be capable of being demounted and fitted within an hour so that they can be swapped between trucks.

The units are capable of loading, transporting and unloading both ISO containers and military flatracks.

The Unit price for each loader crane will range between €20 and 30,000 deliveries start later this year and continue into 2008.
