Badarinarayan to lead Potain India

The chief executive of Shirke Construction Equipments has, as expected, been appointed at president of Potain India, as the company is now known, following its acquisition last week by Manitowoc.

Badarinarayan joined Shirke, the company that his father founded, in 1988 and served in a variety of roles leading up to his appointment as chief executive.

During his 19-year association with Potain and more recently the Manitowoc group, he attended numerous training and orientation courses at company facilities in China, France, Germany and Italy.
