A telehandler overturned on Sunday evening in the town of Au in Hallertau - north of Munich, Bavaria - seriously injuring the driver.
The man, 30, was driving the Manitou MT625 from the Eder Stapler fleet between locations when he lost control of the machine causing it to flip over. In spite of the cab remaining largely intact he sustained injuries serious enough to bring in a helicopter to airlift him to hospital.

The police have not said whether he was wearing a seatbelt at the time.
