New VP at Terex AWP

The Aerial lift division of Terex, which includes Genie, Terex light construction and Load King trailers, has appointed Linda Meyer as vice president and general manager, global marketing and product management.

Mayer will report directly to Tim Ford, the recently appointed president of Terex AWP/Genie. “We are excited to have someone of her caliber and experience joining us as a key member of our executive team,” said Ford.

“Given Linda’s proven track record, we look forward to her skills in establishing global practices, building customer relationships, and growing marketing initiatives through diverse channels. In this new role, Linda will have global responsibility to develop and lead marketing and product management strategy for Terex AWP.”

Mayer was previously vice president of corporate communications and marketing at Rexnord, a $1.6 billion manufacturer of power transmission and industrial components.

Her most recent challenge involved managing the public communications, following a massive explosion at Rexnords Falk gear plant in Millwaukee, last December, in which three employees died.

Prior to joining Rexnord she has served in a number of marketing and product development roles at Kohler which produces bathroom and kitchen sanitary ware, and Moen, a kitchen and bathroom tap manufacturer.

Mayer currently lives in Ohio but will be relocating to the Redmond area with her family.
