UK based tower crane company Radius Group has appointed Connie Horton as national sales manager.
The company said: “Connie’s appointment comes at a pivotal moment of the company’s growth. Over the past few years, Radius has experienced steady expansion, driven by a commitment to innovation, client satisfaction, and excellence in service delivery, which has resulted in increasing demand for its services.”
“With a proven track record in delivering revenue across project and portfolio based objectives, Connie has also led senior sales teams to exceed targets and identify new business opportunities. Her expertise will be vital in driving sales strategies and achieving growth objectives; her passion for excellence and dedication to achieving results align perfectly with the Radius Group values.”
Horton joins the company from Sunbelt Rentals UK, where for the past nine months she has been a regional sales director, but she began her career in 2002 with the Bradford & Bingley building society where she was employed as a sales negotiator. After two years in the job she discovered the access rental industry, joining Nationwide Access, as it was then, as an area sales manager.
A couple of years later she joined The Platform Company in a similar role, but in 2008, it was acquired by Nationwide’s parent company Lavendon. She stayed on and when the company was merged into Nationwide Access to create Nationwide Platforms she was promoted to business development manager of the combined business. In 2011 she took on the role of major project manager, taking the major project lead for the South and Midlands region at the start of 2022. At the end of that year, she left to join JLG UK as a national account manager, and then last year business development manager for JLG/Power Towers, leaving for Sunbelt in September.
Established in 2008, Radius is based in Northampton, UK, and works with and has access to the 3,000 unit fleet of international tower crane supplier NFT. Its range of services runs from tower crane rental to contract lifts and installations.
