US based crane and access rental group Maxim Crane Works has promoted Larry Lis to chief operations officer.
Based at Maxim’s Canonsburg, Pennsylvania location, he will report to chief executive Paul McDonnell. In his new role he will oversee all operational aspects of Maxim Crane Works’ six regions and 50 branch locations. His direct reports will include Maxim’s six regional vice presidents, as well as the vice presidents of the crawler and operational excellence departments.
He joined Maxim in 1998 as a sales representative and was promoted to operations manager in 2009 and regional vice president northeast in 2012, and four years later vice president Midwest and in 2021 also became a member of the office of the CEO. He moved into his current role as vice president of fleet management in March 2022.
