Rise adds 66 new vehicle mounts

Rise Hire, the specialist van mounted aerial lift rental company, that was recently acquired by Lavendon, has confirmed a new order for 52 Versalift platforms worth £2.6 million.

Plus 14 new Landrover mounted booms from Gardner Denver

The new Versalift van mounts include 12.9, 14.2 and 16.5 metre working height units mounted on Ford Transits and Iveco Daily’s. The new vehicles will largely expand the current fleet and will be available from Rise Hire Service Centres throughout the UK, from mid-August onwards.

Nic Rae, general manager of Rise Hire said “We lead this sector of the rental market because we are committed to offering the best choice, best customer service and best quality equipment to our customers. We are delighted to have confirmed these orders and we believe that the mix of added choice and national availability will further differentiate Rise Hire in the marketplace.”

In addition to the Versalift units, Rise Hire has placed an order with Gardner Denver for 14 Land Rover Defender 110 HD 4 x 4 platforms based on the new GD13.5m design.

Delivery on these units is scheduled for late October and has been ordered with utility customers in mind.
