Swiss rental company Maltech has taken delivery of seven 20 metre Forste 20D Socage Speed truck mounted lifts.
The Forste 20D Speed features a three section telescopic boom with an end mounted platform for a 19.6 metre working height. Maximum outreach is nine metres with 230kg in the basket. Features include automatic outrigger setting, levelling and monitoring, automatic engine speed adjustment and a full telematics suite.
On delivery eight Maltech technicians received training in a two day session how to correctly operate and service the new models.
Maltech - acquired by Mateco at the end of last year - operates from over 40 locations with 130 employees. It was initially established as a painting company - Armin Hunziker - in Zurich and purchased its first truck mounted lifts in order to improve safety and efficiency when painting at height. In 1971 it adopted the Maltech name and began to rent platforms out to other trades on a professional basis.
