CTE UK’s new structure

CTE has confirmed the new organisation for its UK subsidiary – CTE UK - following Craig Rooke’s departure from CTE UK this week.

Massimo Franceschi, currently senior area manager will take over as general manager of the CTE UK, while service manager Jimmy Bunting will take on greater responsibility as head of UK operations. In his new role he will assist and support Franceschi on a day to day basis , in addition to managing the after sales service in the UK. (Bunting, joined the company last year ) from Nationwide Platforms and has spent most of his career in the truck mounted lift market.

At the same time Simon Paul Pearson joins the company in a sales role, following six and a half years with vehicle mounted lift distributor CPL. At CTE he will have commercial responsibility for the southern half of the UK including Manchester everything to the south, working alongside Eddie George, who will cover everything north of Manchester. Massimo Franceschi will take care of ‘key accounts’.

Pearson began his career in 2005 as a salesman for with Compact lift trucks, leaving after six years to join pickup truck accessory company Truckman, where he progressed from sales to office sales manager and a business development role, leaving in 2018 for CPL.

Franceschi said: “I am enthusiastic to embark on this new adventure as the general manager of our UK branch. This step forward comes after years of valuable experiences gained in international markets with CTE Team and provides me with the opportunity to continue my professional growth.”

CTE chief operating officer Marco Govoni added: “I think a new era has arrived for CTE UK, it is our duty to try to raise the bar, our history in the United Kingdom, our brand, our range of products require it. I thank Craig again for the work done, and at the same time I wish Massimo all the best for this new challenge, as well as Jimmy and the new arrival Simon, I can assure and guarantee that, like their predecessors, they will have all our support from Italy”
