A tree care worker died on Saturday, August 3rd while trimming trees from a truck mounted aerial lift in Battle Creek, Michigan.
Details have been hard to come across, but the Michigan Occupational Safety and Health Administration (MIOSHA) has confirmed the incident, stating that the man, 50 year old foreman with tree care company was trimming trees from a boom truck when a tree limb contacted a power line, electrocuting him. It also stated that he was the 16th reported person in Michigan to had been killed at work this year.
