Two men crushed under crane boom

Two men in Kentucky were crushed while removing a section of a lattice crane boom. One man - 52-year old Larry E. Kincade of Smith Mills - was killed, the other is in a critical condition.

One man died and one man is critically injured dismantling the lattice boom

Kincade died at the accident that occurred shortly after 2 p.m. Friday at the Old Riverside Downs racetrack in Henderson.

The coroner said that four men employed by M. Bowling Marine Company were trying to remove a boom section from the crane, when two of the men were crushed beneath the section being removed.
