New SVP for EnerMech

UK based engineering and offshore services company EnerMech has promoted Ruairi Kerr to senior vice president business development.

He joined the company in 2020 from energy consulting and contracting firm Kentz – now Kent as development director for the Middle East, the Caspian and Africa. After four years in the role, he will now be responsible for increasing sales and building relationships with new and existing customers and strengthening the company's connections with its key clients.

Kerr began his career in 2005 as a civil engineer with Mouchel Parkman in Ireland, transferring to sister company Mouchel now part of WSP - the following year to take up a job as project manager for the UA and Kuwait. In 2011, he moved to Kentz as business development manager for the UAE, Qatar and Oman, taking over as regional director of business development for the Aisa Pacific region in late 2015, leaving for EnerMech in July 2020.
