In addition to the 1230ES, the fleet includes ES scissor-lift models (1930, 2630, 2646 and 3246), making it the largest fleet of JLG scissor-lifts in the London area. A further 50 JLG units are scheduled for delivery in the coming months.

Taking delivery of the new machines from JLG (UK) account ,manager Lee Edwards, Paul Fairhall the owner of LTS (Powered Access) said: “We have always been satisfied with the quality and performance of the JLG and they form the backbone of our rapidly expanding powered access fleet."

"We had an opportunity to participate in the extended field trials of one of the first pilot models of the 1230ES in the UK, and it proved to be very popular and satisfactory.”

“It is an important addition to our fleet because we foresee an increasing demand for this type of compact unit. It is light, easy to transport, and cost-effective, especially for the vast amount of new construction and internal finishing work which is going on in the City of London, and it meets the demand for machines which comply with the increasingly stringent work-at-height regulations.”

With an all-up weight under 800kg, a stowed height of 1.66 metres, by1.36m long the 1230ES is compact enough to be transported in most construction or industrial lifts and elevators, yet provides a platform height of up to 3.66m.
