Crane and access industry veteran Tim Whiteman has left Sinoboom where he was most recently the global branding and business development director.
He joined the company five years ago after more than 18 years as chief executive of IPAF.
We understand that he will join the work platform division of Chinese material handling equipment manufacturer Noblelift. We have managed to contact those involved in this news and none wished to comment at this stage. We expect to hear more later in the week and will update the news then.

Noblelift was founded in 2000 and has been listed on the Shanghai Stock Exchange since 2015. The company is based in Changxing, Zhejiang, about an hour and a half from Shanghai, and employs around 5,000 people. The aerial work platform division has so far concentrated on slab electric scissor lifts with working heights of between five and 16 metres, which fit well with its other industrial and material handling products.
