German loader crane manufacturer Atlas has appointed Crane Ukraine as its official distributor for the country.
Cranes Ukraine was established in 2001 and is based in Odessa, it specialises in heavy lifting equipment, both on land and with marine services, as well as in house operator training. It is also an official parts dealer for Tadano, Kobelco, Kato, Terex, Maesa, Weycor, Grove, Liebherr and Komatsu equipment.
Atlas chief executive Brahim Stitou said: “Atlas has more than 100 years experience in the material handling business. Cranes Ukraine and Atlas share the same priorities: The customer always comes first, and we are committed to providing customers with top quality products and service. Therefore, I am confident that our partnership will be mutually beneficial.”

Atlas was founded in 1919 in Delmenhorst, Germany by Hinrich Weyhausen to produce agricultural machinery. in 1945 it introduced and patented its first loader crane, iinstalled on the back of a farm tractor.
It built its first hydraulic excavator in 1950, taking it into the construction equipment market. The company was renamed Atlas Weyhausen in 1986 and acquired by Terex in 2001, and then sold to Fil Filipov in 2010, when it was rebranded as Atlas Maschinen, adopting its current name in 2016.
