UK crane and rental company NMT Crane Hire has appointed Mikey York as technical sales manager as he rejoins the company after three years, having previously worked as contract lift manager.
York returns to the company from DM Cranes where he has been sales manager for the past seven months. He began his lifting career in 2017 as a contract lift manager with Sarens, moving to NMT in 2018 where he was contract lift manager for four and a half years. In 2022, he joined Emerson Crane Hire as technical manager, a role he held for eight months before moving to Bryn Thomas Cranes as senior technical sales manager and then national sales manager. Just over a year later, he left for DM Cranes.
Mikey York
York said: “It’s great to be back. I have a strong affinity to this company. NMT is my spiritual home and somewhere that’s close to my heart. When I left a few years ago, James and Mark Ambridge told me, ‘When the time is right to come back to the family, then just pick up the phone.’ That time is now, and I couldn’t be happier.”
