German crane rental company BKL has taken delivery of a 2.5 tonne Cattaneo CM 301 self erecting tower crane, expanding its range of roofing cranes to three models.
The CM 301 features a 30 metre jib with a 600kg jib tip capacity and a maximum hook height of 20.7 metres. The crane can be operated from either site power or a regular 230 volt supply and includes a two fall hook block for faster lift cycles.

The new model joins the recently updated CM 271 which features a 2.5 tonne maximum capacity and a 27 metre jib with a 20.5 metre hook height and 700kg jib tip capacity, and the CM 221A, offering a 1.8 tonne maximum capacity with a 22 metre jib, 17.3 metre hook height and 600kg jib tip capacity. All three models share similar transport dimensions and setup configurations.
BKL has been the exclusive distributor for Cattaneo in Germany and Austria since 1994, and operates from nine locations across Germany including Munich, Frankfurt and Hannover, with a fleet of more than 500 tower cranes, 130 All Terrain cranes from 30 to 700 tonnes and 30 mobile self erecting tower cranes.
