Kito Crosby launches hoist in Asia

Lifting and rigging equipment manufacturer Kito Crosby/Harrington has introduced a new 10 tonne double girder RY wire rope hoist for the Asian market available in India, Thailand and Indonesia from the start of this month.

The new hoist shares many components with the company's RY 10 tonne low headroom model, including the lifting unit, control unit and rope drum. Features include variable frequency drive control with soft start and stop functions to minimise load bounce and swing.

Built with an aluminium case for reduced weight and easier maintenance, the hoist includes a magnetic disc brake, electronic thermal and overload protection. The unit uses a coated core wire rope with a 360 degree guide system to keep the rope on the drum, while a side roller system helps prevent wear on wheels and rails.
