Portuguese mastclimber and hoist manufacturer Elevek will launch two new products at Bauma, a hoist and a mast climber.
The TP5 hoist offers both passenger and material lift modes, and features a 1.4 x 1.6 metre hoist car with a 750kg maximum capacity. In TP - passenger transport mode, it can handle 500kg with a maximum occupancy of five people and a 12 metres per minute lift speed.
In the MH - Material Hoist mode, the capacity increases to 750kg while the speed doubles to 24 metres a minute. Maximum lift height for both is 100 metres, with each mast section weighing 49kg.
The TP5
Standard safety features include geared motor brakes, an overspeed fall arrest device, non-slip flooring, and a comprehensive limit switch system. Power is supplied through a 2.55kW motor for standard operation, with an upgrade to 5.93kW available as an option.
The other new product is the MC5000 mast climber which offers a maximum lifting capacity of up to 3,290kg in single mast configuration, rising to 7,000kg in twin mast setup. Lifting speeds of eight metres per minute at 50Hz, increasing to 9.5 metres a minute at 60Hz.
The MC5000
Platform has an overall width of 1.5 metres, while platform lengths range from 2.82 to 19.48 metres in single mast configuration, while twin mast lengths of 8.48 to 38.64 metres are available. The unit has a maximum working height of 150 metres, with a freestanding height of up to 20 metres, with tie ins every 15 metres above that. The mast sections are the same as used for the company’s CH2000 construction hoist.
The new lift features dual 4kW drive motors in single mast configuration, or four motors in twin mast setups. Safety features including an emergency stop, geared motor brakes, a manual motor brake system and a rack inductive detector.
