Sinoboom acquires Holland Lift

Chinese manufacturer Sinoboom has acquired the Holland Lift brand name and associated intellectual Property, through its Dutch subsidiary Sinoboom BV.

The liquidation of Holland Lift was announced in August 2023, with everything wound down over the following months. Its product range on closure included over 30 models or variations, with working heights from 16 to 34 metres, platform capacities up to 1,000kg with narrow and Rough Terrain versions along with all electric, hybrid and diesel power.

The Holland Lift designs will be transferred to Sinoboom’s global CAD system/network, which will be followed by a “technical adaptation and integration phase” including the integration of Sinoboom’s latest operating systems. Prototypes will then be manufactured to be submitted for official certification.

The company plans to brand the new machines as ‘Holland Lift by Sinoboom’. And will be manufactured across all of Sinoboom’s production facilities, starting in Poznan, Poland.

Sinoboom chief executive Susan Xu said: “This milestone supports our long-term objectives of product diversification and deepening our European presence. The Holland Lift brand is recognised globally and has been a leader in the large scissor lift sector both in construction and industrial sectors, and its integration will enhance our global offerings.”

“The Holland Lift range is a natural extension to our existing product portfolio and will allow us to offer our global customer base a wider range, whilst also allowing Sinoboom to develop new customers whose business is often focused in this sector of high capacity scissors.”

Richard Butler chief executive of Sinoboom Europe added: “Our plan is to have the first models manufactured at our plant in Poznan, during the first quarter of 2026.These models will then be followed by the rest of the range on a phased introduction and then with other manufacturing locations starting production.”

Holland Lift’s replacement parts inventory was acquired last year by Skyhigh and Tjaco Sussenbach which had previously opened A Holland Lift support business.
