New products and announcements for Vertikal Days

A number of companies are planning to unveil new products at Vertikal Days this week, here are just some of the exhibits to look for.

Cranes UK
Tadano-Faun is the only major mobile crane company to exhibit this year under its own banner though its UK distributor Cranes UK. With so many exciting new products making their debut, it is hardly surprising that the company wants to show them off to UK crane companies.

On show will be its new 40 tonne ATF40G-2, 50 tonne ATF50G-3 and 90 tonne ATF90G-4 All Terrain cranes all of which were unveiled at Bauma and are now beginning to ship.

MTI
Jost distributor MTI will use Vertikal Days to unveil the brand new Jost JTL 68.4, topless luffing tower crane. The hydraulic luffer has a 40 metre jib, a maximum lift capacity of four tonnes and can handle 1,500kg at maximum radius.

PB
Exhibiting for the first time in the UK German manufacturer PB Liftechnik will show two new, heavy duty scissor lifts, including the brand new S171 with an overall width of 1.2 metres. Both are driveable at full height and equipped with jacks to allow the machine to be levelled on uneven ground. The company is looking to sell direct or to find a local distributor.

First time in the UK for German manufacturer PB Liftechnik



Pagliero
Multitel - Pagliero will show its brand new MX170 truck mounted lift on a 3,500kg chassis. The twin telescopic boom lift is a derivative of the company’s highly popular MX200, possibly the biggest selling truck mounted lift in Europe over the past 12 months.

Facelift
Facelift is planning to show its 52 metre Bronto fitted with its new lifting jib for the placement of large glass panels.

Genie
Genie will have a good spread on display from its range of aerial lifts and telehandlers, including the Z51/30RT articulated boom - now built in Europe - and the GTM2506 telehandler.

Planet Platforms
Planet will be showing its new trailer mounted scissor lift, the TP9000 launched earlier this year. The CTE Power Tower will also be on the stand making its UK debut. The company plans to show a range of equipment for safe working at height.

Ranger
Ranger will show models from the Teupen spider lift range that it distributes including the worlds largest Spider lift the massive Leo 50 with 50 metre working height.

Kranlyft
Kranlyft will have a selection from its Maeda range of mini cranes

Skyjack
The big exhibit on the Skyjack stand will be its new boom lift, the SB45J telescopic Rough Terrain boom. The CE version is now in full production and shipping to Europe in significant numbers.
Other products will include examples from both its electric and Rough Terrain scissor lift ranges.

GGR-Unic
Unic Cranes Europe will show a number of its mini cranes, including the new 706, the largest spider crane in production launched earlier this year.

Ruthmann
Ruthmann is looking to increase its share of the UK market and will have an impressive display including its 22 metre TB22 on a 3.5 tonne chassis, the T300 and T370.

Valla UK
Valla UK will show its increasingly popular 120E electric pick and carry crane equipped with fly jib and the ultra compact track mounted TX20E with powered winch.

Niftylift
Nifty will display a selection from its ever widening range of boom type lifts, including the highly popular 12 metre HR12 and N150T and N120T trailer lifts.

UpRight
Since booking for Vertikal Days UpRight has acquired Snorkel and so the IPS/UpRight Powered Access and Snorkel stands have been positioned alongside each other. Vertikal Days will be the first opportunity for the public to see the Snorkel booms in their UpRight livery. The company might also be in a position to announce its combined distribution strategy for the two product lines. It is entirely possible that Snorkel distributor, APS will also have some UpRight products on its stand.

APS
APS will show the Hinowa 19:65 spider lift along with the Snorkel/UpRight AB50J and possibly a product from the Omme lift range.

Oktopus
Oktopus builds a range of handling equipment for glass, cladding and roofing panels. The company will also show a Klaas TC28 trailer crane.

Promax
Promax Access the Platform Basket and Dino lift distributor will show a number of products, including the new RGQ/15/75 spider lift with telescopic track extension to allow passage through narrow doors while providing better stability on uneven ground.

Power Lifting
Böcker aluminium cranes will be featured heavily on the Power lifting stand with two trailer mounted and one truck mounted crane, the AK32/1500, on display. The AHK27/1200 trailer crane fitted out as a lift crane, the AHK31/1500 trailer crane will be equipped with both lifting and aerial platform options.

Holland Lift
Russon Access will show a number of large and ultra narrow, heavy duty scissor lifts possibly including the worlds largest Scissor lift, the 32 metre Megastar G-320.

Manitou
Russon will also have a stand for its Manitou range of articulated boom lifts including its increasingly popular 16 metre 160ATJ.

Insphire
Insphire will be demonstrating its Windows based rental management software. Already in use by companies such as Facelift, Panther, AFI-Uplift and The Platform Company, its software is aimed at rental companies of all sizes and includes standard features like service scheduling, pre-delivery inspections and monitoring of machine certification.
The company has been working with IPAF to improve business processes utilising InspHire to meet IPAF Rental+ accreditation requirements. IPAF members can benefit from a 10 percent discount.

Hiab
Hiab will show two of its latest loader crane models including a rear mounted X5144B-2ce crane on an Iveco 26,000kg chassis cab and the new XTR1283 excavator crane mounted on a DAF 32,000kg truck.

Vanson
Vanson, sharing a stand with PLC will show the one of its smallest self erecting tower cranes.

PLC
PLC will show a selection of its ECO power pad outrigger mats for cranes and aerial lifts and will also display the Elefant hydraulically lowering trailer for compact equipment. The Swiss made trailer can handle aerial lifts, mini cranes and compact plant such as mini excavators and skid steer loaders.

CTE
In addition to a selection from its truck mounted cranes CTE will show models from its new Spider lift range and introduce the new UK-built Power Tower push around lift with Z-type sigma lift mechanism.

JLG
JLG is displaying a selection from its aerial lift and telehandler ranges including the new ultra compact mast lift the 1232ES.

SkyKing
Skyking has two stands, one for its GSR-built range of truck and van mounted aerial lifts and one for Wumag the range of larger high-tech truck mounted lifts that it represents in the UK and Ireland. The company also produces the King trailer range becoming increasingly popular for moving cranes, aerial lifts and telehandlers.

Haulotte
On the Haulotte stand you can look at the all new Telehandler HTL4014, hopefully in the black colour seen on the company’s display at Bauma. Also on the stand will be the HA16PX rough terrain articulated boom lift, Star 10 mast boom and Optimum 8 electric scissor lift.

Easi-UpLifts
Easi-Uplifts will exhibit the new Iteco 12/151 indoor/outdoor electric scissor lift along with some examples of new and young used platforms that the company sells including a Genie Z135/70 articulating boom lift. Easi Uplifts now operates three locations in the UK, including a specialist re-rent operation based in Banbury.

Versalift
Versalift - the market leading producer of Van Mounted and insulated lifts - will show its ET36MF boom lift on a Renault Master. Look for the company’s lighting models, with drive feom the platform and no outrigger options.

Eve Trakway
Eve will show a selection of its fencing and temporary surfaces. The company made its name providing aluminium roadways and matting to provide temporary access for cranes and large truck mounted aerial lifts. The company now offers a wide range of products to help large mobile equipment deal with bad ground conditions.

Leguan
Avant Techno - now based in the UK - will show its range of skid steer and crawler mounted self propelled lifts, including its radical new scissor lift unveiled earlier this year at Bauma.

City Lifting
London-based City lifting distributes Comansa tower cranes and runs a fleet of mobile cranes including a substantial fleet of Spierings mobile tower cranes. The company is hoping to display its new seven axle Spierings, the first in the UK.

Crane Safe
Crane Safe distributes the SMIE range of anti collision devices for tower cranes, along with a number of other crane safety devices including Orlaco boom tip cameras. If you are into cranes - tower or mobiles - this is a stand not to miss.

Allan Access
Allan will show a range of specialist vehicle mounted lifts, including the Land Rover mounted Niftylifts and specialist aerial lifts for utility and forestry industries. The company is also hoping to launch a new No-outrigger configuration for street lighting.

Bob Francis.
Crane hirer Bob Francis will show its new Grove GMK2035 All Terrain crane and DAF FTMXF95 transporter. The company may possibly display something a little larger.

Speedy Lifting
The Speedy Lifting division of Speedy Hire will show a selection of its lifting gear available for rent, including web slings and modular lifting beams. Speedy is also the leading rental company for large generators used to power most tower cranes.

Ainscough Crane Hire
Locally-based Ainscough is hoping to display one of its new Liebherr cranes.

Oil&Steel
Oil&Steel will show one of its latest large truck mounted cranes with dual platform extension and one of its Octopussy spider lifts.

Alimak-Hek
Alimak Hek is supporting the new event from an indoor location in the Marketplace. The leading manufacturer of mast climbers and hoists will demonstrate its new revolutionary remote monitoring system and talk about its new modular systems.

UK Generators
UK Generators will show its built-in hydraulic generator packs which are proving very popular on Rough Terrain scissor lifts.

And a surprise?
Expect to see a surprise exhibit on Thursday morning when the UK’s largest truck mounted lift it expected to make an appearance at Vertikal Days.
While just over 10 metres short of the worlds largest lift it is still an extremely impressive piece of kit.
