Quiet platform suits workshop project

Swiss rental company WS-Skyworker has completed facade work at a disabled workshop using a 60ft all-electric Skyjack SJ60AJE+ boom to minimise disruption to residents.

The maximum working height is 20.29 metres with a dual platform capacity of 300kg at the maximum outreach of 12.06 metres - in other words unrestricted - or 454kg at a working outreach of up to 9.25 metres at an up & over height of 8.31 metres.
The platform in operation

The company used the boom for sun protection installation work at the WBM Foundation learning workshop in Madiswil, Upper Aargau, canton of Bern. The organisation supports adults with impairments.

WS-Skyworker managing director Martin Vögtli said: "In the learning workshop, where adults with impairments are accompanied, consideration for noise and emissions plays a central role. The all electric platform was the perfect solution here."

The project was carried out for Nyffenegger Storenfabrik, with the foundation's daily operations remaining unaffected throughout the work.
