A plant orders JCB

A-Plant has placed a further £13 million worth of orders for new equipment to help cope with record utilisation levels. Among the new order which includes mini excavators, dumpers and rollers, is a wide range of JCB Loadall telehandlers.

The models ordered cover lifting heights from five to 17 metres and add to the company’s 1,000 unit fleet, which is already predominantly JCB.

Sat Dhaiwal, chief executive officer of A-Plant, said: “In our last financial year we invested over £70 million in new plant and equipment and we anticipate that our investment for this financial year will exceed that figure."

"We are 100 percent committed to ensuring that all our customers, both at a local level and in national accounts, can obtain the exact equipment they want, when and where they want it. We have also invested in developing our sales and service operations to complement the growth in our fleet.”

A-Plant recently launched the new A-Plant Guarantee, providing customers with guaranteed service levels with regard to Delivery, Service, Availability and Out-of-Hours Response.

If A-Plant does not fulfill these service levels, the customer is offered a free hire or free delivery of a range of guaranteed stock items.
