New man for Encore

The Manitowoc crane group has appointed Tim Martin as sales and marketing manager for its EnCore repair and rebuild service, part of its Crane Care business.

Martin was previously a sales and marketing manager for Komatsu Remanufacturing; before which he worked at a Caterpillar dealership in the Midwest.

EnCore offers repair and rebuild services for both Manitowoc Crane Group cranes and major replacement parts. All of which are delivered with a full warranty.

In his new position, Martin will report to Keith Crider, director of customer service for Manitowoc Crane Care in the Americas. His duties will include developing new business, pursuing new opportunities, and quality control.

Crider said: “Our customers know that the Manitowoc name stands for quality products and yet the rebuild or repair option is often overlooked as an option in today’s marketplace”.

“Tim’s role is to raise awareness among our customers to the additional productivity and profitability that EnCore offers. He brings a wealth of experience in the aftermarket business to this new role and we’re delighted to have him as a part of our team.”
