Clements expands

Clements Plant & Tool Hire, which was the subject of a Management Buy Out at the start of this year, has stepped up its investment in new aerial lifts.

Three new bi-energy Niftylift HR12 booms have just been added to the fleet and will be joined at the end of the month by three new diesel Niftylift HR17’s.

These will join two new Snorkel AB50 4x4 booms recently purchased from APS.

“We now have 130 aerial lifts and aim to increase this to 150 by the end of our financial year in April” said managing director Jim Longstaff.

“Our investment covers both Plant and Access equipment and also includes two new trucks supplied by Shawtrack. We have increased our number of employees and are opening more new accounts month on month”

“We will shortly add another 26 tonne truck to our fleet and intend recruiting another driver as well as engaging an apprentice in the new-year.”
