New on-line parts

IPS, the UK based international parts and service business is launching a new ‘active’ online parts search and ordering system. The new service will be known as ‘IPS online’ and will go live in November.

Current registered users will gain automatic access to the new service, while new customers will need to register on line.

The company says that the service has been developed in conjunction with its current customer base and is aimed solely at simplifying the sourcing of parts, allowing customers to search for all major OEM parts, check stock availability and view the latest special offers.

It claims that users can find the part they are looking for, no matter how specific, faster than before. The new search function allows the customer to locate parts by:
- Manufacturer part number…..or

- Part description, for example ‘Mast Bearing…or

- IPS part number – if ordering from the catalogue….or

- Product group eg ‘Motors, Electric & Hydraulic’, which can then be further filtered by manufacturer….and

If none of the above works, then by a Parts Request a new parts sourcing service for items not currently in the inventory.
