Palazzani's for Federservizi

Italian rental company Federservizi has taken delivery of two new Palazzani spider lifts, an 18 metre TZJ180 and a 32 metre XTJ32. The new platforms arrive 10 years after the company purchased its first Palazzani spiders at the Saie Bologna trade fair in 2016.

The TZJ180, launched at Bauma last year, has an 18 metre working height and 8.2 metres of outreach at an up & over height of eight metres whilst maintaining an unrestricted platform capacity of 230kg. The overall stowed width is 775mm extending to 955mm on site, with an overall length of 5.28 metres and a total weight of 2,500kg. The outrigger spread is three metres.

The XTJ32 has a 32 metre working height and 14.5 metres of outreach at an up & over height of 24.5 metres with 120kg in the basket, while the maximum platform capacity of 330kg is available at an outreach of up to 12 metres. The overall stowed width is 1.1 metres extending to 1.4 metres, while the overall length is 6.9 metres. Overall weight is 5,940kg.

Federservizi general managerMartina Tomasi said: “As a rental company, the XTJ 32 and TZJ 180 are practical models for the types of work carried out by our customers. Being located in Trentino-Alto Adige, our customers typically face sites with uneven ground and significant slopes, so in terms of working height and performance, they are ideal for their needs.”

Paola Palazzani added: “We are proud to strengthen our collaboration with Federservizi, a dynamic company focused on service quality. The choice of the TZJ180 and XTJ32 models confirms our range’s ability to meet the real needs of the professional rental sector, even in the most complex environments.”

Founded in 2001 by Lino Tomasi and Franca Giaier, their initial fleet consisted of just three mini excavators, but since 2006 the company has focused mainly on aerial work platforms, although its fleet also includes telehandlers, forklifts and excavators. Federservizi is based in Bolzano, in Italy's South Tyrol, on the road to Austria. In addition to spider lifts, its fleet includes small truck mounted lifts, scissor and boom lifts, mast booms along with both fixed and 360 telehandlers.
