Resale value

The aerial lift below was recently sold on ebay, increasingly the medium for aerial lifts that have become too old for the regular used equipment market.

Old lifts never die

The old Bedford mounted Simon lift has to be at least 45 years old and yet it was sold for £2,300 on ebay.

We have over the past two years been concerned over the condition of aerial lifts sold on ebay, possibly to unsuspecting small tradesmen, (this one is in excellent condition compared to some) and have had a dialogue with ebay about this.

No matter what you think regarding the morality of selling old inoperable, possibly dangerous machines to the public, there is no argument that prices obtained for the oldest aerial lifts is often surprisingly high.
