Crane operator injured - updated

The crane operator badly injured in Seattle, USA, yesterday after falling 20 metres onto concrete after slipping on the tower crane ladder he was climbing has since died in hospital.

The accident occurred at a site on Third Avenue and Battery Street. The man, in his 40s, was taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he died of his injuries.
