Dutch crane and off road tyre supplier Magna Tyres Group has acquired Belgian tyre sales and distribution company Forrez.
Based in Ypres, western Belgium, and founded in 1964, Forrez has spent 60 years selling and distributing tyres for cars, trucks, vans, and agricultural and industrial vehicles. The company operates from 17 branches, manufactures agricultural wheel rims, while also working as a global wholesaler and importer of tyres and rims.
President of the Magna tyres group, Michael de Ruijter said: "Forrez is an excellent fit within our group. Their reputation, technical knowledge and customer focused culture align perfectly with our strategy and values.”

Magna Tyres group includes Fennell Tyres International, Industra Tyres & Lubricants, Tirepoint, Telescope Tyres Group, Obo Tyres and now Forrez. The company is based in Waalwijk - between Rotterdam and Tilburg - and has been designing and manufacturing off road tyres since 2006 producing them in both Thailand and the Netherlands with tyres for cranes, mining and construction equipment, port handling, and recycling/waste disposal machines. It operates across 130 countries and has its own operations in Germany, Poland, the Czech Republic, Serbia, Croatia, India, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, the UAE, South Africa, Canada and the USA.
