The 27.12 is equipped with a two section boom and a jib offering 180 degrees of articulation, providing a working height of 12.6 metres and a maximum outreach of 8.75 metres. The platform has a capacity of 270kg, while the overall weight is 2.7 tonnes.
The 50.16 features a three section boom and a jib with 180 degrees of articulation, providing a working height of 16 metres and a maximum outreach of 10.5 metres. The platform capacity is 330kg, and the overall weight is five tonnes. The platforms will be available for use in Hagen and Hamburg.
Cramer is based in Hagen, to the south of Dortmund and was founded in 1962 by Peter Cramer as a timber transporter. The company shifted to tree care in 1970 and acquired a number of work platforms to assist with the work. A rental business sideline soon emerged, and in 1977, the company formally opened its aerial lift rental business, which included under bridge inspection platforms. Telehandlers were added in 2002, as a second generation joined the company in the form of Till Cramer, followed a couple of years later by daughter Annekathrin Schumacher-Cramer and her husband Jan Schumacher, who took over the management of the rental division.
By 2010 the fleet had grown to 750 units, including spider cranes, so the tree business was dropped. The company now has around 115 employees and runs a fleet of 1,600 platforms, telehandlers, and cranes.
