Crane misses children

A 35 to 45 year old telescopic truck crane tipped over onto a building on Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles on Saturday where a parenting class was underway.

A mother and child received some minor grazes after the crane boom crashed into the roof, they were taken to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for a precautionary examination.

The crane which appears to be a Grove TM800 on an 8x4 chassis, was lifting a billboard when it seems that an outrigger gave way, causing it to tip.

Thankfully no one was injured.
