Crane fatality at Port of Houston

A man died on Saturday after a crane dropped its load on him in the hold of a ship at the Port of Houston. Reports say that the accident occurred at the Greensport Terminal of Gulf Stream Marine on Industrial Boulevard. He was reported dead at the scene. Local reports say that the man was guiding the load when something on the crane ‘gave way’ causing the load to fall.
