Huntley adds Hi Viz

Huntley Plant Hire, the Newcastle, UK, based access and telehandler rental company has placed a £1.8 million order with JCB for a number of its recently launched Hi Viz telehandlers. The order includes models ranging from five metre up to 17 metre lift heights, with the majority being the 12 and 14 metre 535-125 HiViz and 535-140 HiViz models.

The company says that this is the first tranche of 100 JCB telehandlers it plans to add during 2008 in order to keep the average age of its fleet at around eight months.

Stephen Huntley said: “We have found that the JCB machines continue to perform exceptionally well on site and the new HiViz machines have made them even more productive. We have already placed a number on sites throughout the UK and without exception they have been well received and are considered a marked improvement on the previous models.”

The company also says that its access fleet is continuing to perform well and that it expects to expand its fleet with further boom and scissor lifts later this year.
