Bronto up 18%
Federal Signal, parent of Bronto Skylift, the Finnish based producer of truck mounted aerial work platforms has discontinued E-1 from its Fire Rescue division, leaving Bronto’s results clearly visible for the first time.
Bronto increased its revenues by 18 percent to $24 million, and would have been higher if it had not been for difficulties obtaining enough chassis and components. As a result the company’s order book increased by 70 percent to $179 million.
A 40 percent increase in capacity will be fully on line by the third quarter according to Federal Signal.
Operating income at Bronto kept pace with revenue growth, growing 18 percent to $2 million.
