Bil-Jax for CAT

CAT Access solutions, a relative newcomer to the powered access market, has ordered the first Bil-Jax 55ft Summit 5533A trailer lift in the UK. Founded by Chris Taylor, previously with Ranger equipment CAT is based in Castleford, Yorkshire, and runs a small fleet of specialist machines, including Platform Basket spider lifts.

The company, which confirmed the order for the 5533a today at SED, has purchased the unit from Bil-Jax’s new UK distributor, Promax. It has specified it with petrol power, rather than battery, and the optional crane attachment which includes a quick disconnect platform and pin on hook assembly that provides up to 227kgs unrestricted lift capacity.
