105 Terex cranes to the rescue

Terex Chiangjiang, the Chinese joint venture crane manufacturer has sent a convoy of 105 new cranes to help with earthquake rescue efforts.

The cranes head off to the earthquake zone

The Terex company is the only crane maker located in the affected Sichuan province, with its production plant in Luzhou some 300 km south of the epicentre.

Terex Chinese truck cranes

The cranes left the plant in an impressive convoy towards the stricken area, while Luzhou certainly felt the quake - 8.3 on the Richter scale - we understand that no serious damage was done to the plant itself.
